Bleeding after cerclage

How long did you bleed after your cerclage was in place? I got my cerclage on Tuesday and bleed pretty much that whole day with nothing really on Wed and Thursday except for when I had a bm or threw up. Last night I went to pee and had bright red blood and mucus. I freaked out and text my dr who also did the surgery and he didn't seem all that concerned and just said he would see me next week and to keep resting. Today I've been spotting again the color ranges from maroon to pink. There is some in my pad but when I wipe not much. I'm just freaking out bc I don't know what to expect. The dr said I would spot for 1 week and I guess this is all considered spotting. Just wanted to know what your experience was, because Dr. google is scary!

yes... please do not google! not good!  ha.

my first cerclage i bled for a few days and TONS of goopy/snot like CM.  The preventative cerclage i had put in this time at 13 weeks..i just bled for a day or two and then had brown spotting for probably the rest of the week. 

Everyone is different at the types of cerclages and how they are sewn are all different.  i would say if it hasn't been a week yet you are fine!

thanks for the response.  Did you continue to cramp as well?  The cramps had pretty much subsided but ive had some today.

yeah.. i had very mild cramping on and off for maybe like 5 days or so...
