back from surgery

Well had d and c/d and e yesterday at the high risk hospital about an hour from my house, we got there about 11am, procedure at 2pm, then discharged at 8pm. was a long day. we actually got a hotel room near the hospital, just wanted to be close by in case i got a fever or started to bleed too much. better that then have over an hour drive with a problem.

just got off the phone with DH who went to the funeral home, they are going to bury my precious baby this afternoon (on top of my father who unexpectedly died in july of 2010) and so now when i go to see him I can also see her too.

What a horrible past week and past few hours also. I am trying to remember the joy of when everything was fine. just having some trouble doing that. feeling blue today. and feeling very "not pregnant" anymore...weird but once you see the (tmi) bleeding on the pad it is more official then before.

procedure wasnt terrible, bleeding now, some cramping, and some dizziness from the medication to keep the uterus contracted. just sitting on the recliner. trying to now put on tlc or a baby story etc....

i am sorry for your losses at any stage in pregnancy. my angel joined your angels and so they can grow together until we all meet them again on a great great day.

Glad to hear that you're back and recovering from your surgery.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I'm glad that your DD and father can stay together.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  Glad to hear you are resting and taking it slowly. 

TLC has been banned from my TV for awhile because of all the baby stories, etc.  You must feel some peace that your dd and father are together.  We discovered our baby died exactly a year later to the date that we had my FIL's funeral so I find peace that he is taking care of his grandbaby.  Please take care and if you ever need anything we are here.
