NMR: my laptop crashed, need recs

My Dell took a poop!!! :(. Time to shop for a new one. Really want a MacBook but I'm gonna be working from home some and I'm just not sure about compatibility issues.. Any reccommendations? Thanks!

    I just went thru the same thing.  4 year old Dell laptop with no memory left & liked to shut off at random times.

    I just replaced it with a MacBook Pro and so far I love it.  I had a Mac years ago and even now, I don't think that there are compatibility issues like there used to be way back when.
