    Yes. It was an arranged marriage like most are in India.  They're 2nd cousins (cue the incest jokes; it was common back then) who met on & off growing up but didn't really "know" each other until they got engaged.  They'll celebrate their 34th anniversary this year.

DH and I met at UD 25 years later (minus the cuteness of the football/cheerleader combo).

    Me: PCOS DH: slight MFI (morphology 3%)
    IUI #1=BFN 100 mg of clomid= no response so doc prescribed 150 mg of Clomid. Resulted in 1 follie at 22. Trigger on 12/23 IUI on 12/24 (count 14 million post-wash motility grading 3-4).
    January 2011 on hold due to cyst
    IUI #2 5.0 MG Femara plus 75 iu of Gonal-F no growth so up to 112.5 iu for Gonal-F and then 150 iu. Resuled in 1 mature follie at 19. Trigger on 2/18 IUI on 2/19 (count 13 million post-wash motility grading 3-4) and 2/20 (count 10 million post-wash motility grading 3-4) BFP! Lost our son Joshua at 21 weeks 5 days.

    Jennifer TTC #1 Dx PCOS 2009 Apr, Aug, and Sept tried clomid cycles.... BFN. Oct...DH SA results were normal. Me...HSG - left tube was clear, right tube was slightly blocked. Dec - Clomid #4 200mg Feb 2010 - IUI #1 200mg Clomid = BFN. June 2010 - IUI #2 200mg Clomid = BFN. March 2011 - IUI #3 w/ injectables = BFN (1st & last with RE, moving on to IVF). Jan/Feb 2010 1st IVF with ICSI-5 week chemical pregnancy :( Feb 2010-male infertility doc says DH's anatomy and blood work are normal so nothing he can do. :( FET July 2010-BFP! Twin m/c @ 5.5 wks :( Dec/Jan 2011 IVF #2 Only 4 eggs retrieved-Ganirelix dose messed up BFFN Feb/March 2011 IVF #3 ER 3/9 9 eggs, 7 fertilized, ET 3/14, No frosties.     I can tell you that when DH and I were engaged I found out that my friend's father went on date with my MIL before my MIL and FIL met.  And my friend's father was out cheating on her mother.  Nice.

    Hmmm I'm not sure. They've been divorced for a long time and DH's dad has passed.

One day FIL threw rocks at MIL (he was 19 she was 14) and they became friends and over time it turned into love. They married when MIL was 20 and FIL was 25.

    5. Do you know how your ILs met? they grew up together, he was friends with her brother and was one year ahead but had the same algebra class and that's when they started dating. I know more about how my ILs got together than my own parents. I love my ILs!!!!

    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(

    5. Do you know how your ILs met? FUNNY story. His dad ran a tow truck service/gargae. And his sister and his mom had a car accident and he met her when he came to get the cars. SOOOO funny. His dad already had 5 kids, mom ran off and they got married and they had two more.

    I really don't like the ILs, and DH doesn't really care about them that much either...

    5. Do you know how your ILs met? arranged marriage (they're Indian) - happily married for 37 yrs. until my FIL's passing last yr.

    5 REs + 3 surgical hysteroscopies for septum/lap + 3 failed IUIs
    IVF w/ICSI/AH & acu = BFP!, unexplained spontaneous m/c @ 8w2d (our little girl),
    FET w/acu = BFP!, B/G twins!, lost MP @19w, dx w/funneling cervix @20w,
    twins nearly lost to IC @21w, saved by rescue cerclage, 17P & 16w of bedrest
    Our twins born @36w4d via CS when A came foot first
