Baby girl name question..

Ok DH and I have picked a name, Madison Joyce. Joyce is my grandmothers name so she is going to be so happy. But I was just sitting here thinking that my nieces name is Allison. Do you think those are too close? We only see them twice a year so it shouldn't really matter right? Especially because DH loves the name, im more of the really really like. I just want some reassurance that its ok. Thanks ladies!

I think its def. ok.. Granted they kind of sound alike but they arent! and you only see them twice a year! Go for it especially if you both love the name, its very hard to do that and its a beautiful name

it's totally okay! as long as your other daughter isn't allison (that would be weird).

I think it is fine. They are two completely different names (with similar styles).

If you both love the name, then I would still use it. I would say the same even if you saw each other more often.
