Mobile or ceiling projector thingy?

What kind of mobile or ceiling projector thing should I get Alice?  The other day she finally noticed the mobile on her swing and she is mesmerized by it.  Its the cutest thing ever and seems to help her go to sleep. 

Which ones do y'all like?

I like the Homedics one, you can get it at BB&B or online, of course.  I listed it in my sale items a couple of weeks ago, but someone else called dibs.  I'll make sure she still wants it.

I vote for a pretty mobile.  V has the ceiling projecter thingy and hasn't ever gotten into it.

See, Coop had a mobile AND we had the projector thing and once the boys started sleeping on their bellies, Coop's mobile was really just this thing hanging out on his crib for no real purpose.  Sooo, for the (cheap) cost of the projector, I like that it has the white noises that can be programmed for increments of time long after the kid is sleeping in a way where they won't see the projections on the ceiling.  Although you can tilt the projector to project on the wall and that's another bonus..

I'm guessing this replaced the FP Ocean Wonders projection mobile.  This is super cute.  The only downside would be that it's recommended to take most mobiles off the crib once they can sit up and/or reach it.  So at that point, if you still want ceiling projection, you'd have to get something new.

This is the one we have, and it's been great. While DS was smaller, he enjoyed the mobile. Now that he's a bigger boy, we removed the "mobile" part & just use the projector. He loves watching it while we cuddle before bed.

I'm an idiot because I never knew this. We still have the mobile on her crib and she stands up and plays with it occasionally. I will have to try to remove the mobile part. This is why I love the nest!

 Ya, there are screws on either side of the arm for the mobile that you use to remove it. Then there is a little deal that slides over to cover the hole. Very cool!
