I want to try these as well. Thoughts? Did they work for you, if so at what age? My DD is almost 7 months and weighed 14.1 at her 6 month appointment.. She does have chunky little thighs though.. Also AIO or Shells? TIA!
Your kids are gorgeous! We just started using them - DD is about 25 lbs - and I love them. We use the shells and inserts. The inserts snap in so they stay in place better. The inserts also have gussets and a waterproof backing. These covers seem like they stay cleaner with the waterproof back.
The tabs cross over so it should fit well on a smaller baby too!

We use both and they fit my DD great. The snap and the hook & loop closures both work well. The hook & look is very soft so it doesn't irritate DDs belly the way some others do. I love snaps (on these and in general) because I can snap a larger setting around the leg and a smaller setting around the waist to deal with her big thighs.
The AIO are the trimmest I've used and they still work really well. The soaker comes in two pieces- one sewn on one end with a snap at the other end. The second soaker snaps to the first. This allows you to customize the diaper a bit and also means that they dry pretty fast.
The AI2 covers work with the GroVia inserts but they also work well over prefolds. I originally got them while using a cloth diaper service.
We started using the covers when DD was about 6 months old. DD was 9 months old when we switched to washing our own diapers and added in the AIO and shell inserts. She is still on the medium rise setting and a smaller waist setting so these will fit for a while.
I have the organic cotton boosters and love them. Very trim. I'm planning on adding the stay dry boosters next.
