This entire time, I've only been having cramps in the left side. When I went to the ED Saturday, they ruled out ectopic/tubal pg via u/s. But is this normal? Also... I've been bleeding pretty steadily since last Thursday, starting this morning the bleeding has gotten very heavy. I'm not completely saturating a pad in a short amount of time or anything, but it's much heavier than it has been. Does this mean this is the end and my body is getting ready to pass everything? I'm still very new at this miscarriage and I know very few people who have had them that I can ask.

Re: One sided cramps during m/c?
Personally, I had major cramps, scratch that, contractions that seemed to include every muscle in my ab area, all sides, and even made my back really sore. They were pretty horrendous. For me, contractions were really bad right before I would pass tissue or clots. So bad that I couldn't talk during them b/c it was too painful. I don't know how long it lasts b/c I had my D&C already scheduled the day after my m/c started naturally. I've heard others bleed for up to 5 weeks or some much much less. I think it all depends on your body and how far along you are.
I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I hope the physical part is almost over for you.

With this last M/C I had extreme cramping/pain only on my left side, even when I had period cramps it was always on the left (mostly)
OB said it was normal and nothing to be worried about.
