Did anyone see last week's Greys Anatomy?

I just watched it yesterday afternoon and I have to say that it was bothersome to me that the mass shooter at the college was named Jared.  Kind of an odd coincidence, no?

Yeah, I didn't notice the name coincidence but I watched that episode last week and when the AZ shooting happened, it creeped me out how they had to remove part of Giffords' skull to allow for brain swelling, exactly like that patient on "Grey's."

I also watched it after the shooting, and it creeped me out as well. Very coincidental.

I did as well.  I also put too much thought into it.  Dh wouldnt allow me to watch it Thursday when it came on.  He wanted me to watch it with him (he had some errands to run with his mom Thursday night) so we watched it yesterday afternoon while I was off and the kids were napping. 

Not only was the shooters name in GA name Jared and the shooter in the AZ name Jared but my brothers name (one of the VT shooting victims) was Jarrett.  The AZ shooter was 22 as was my brother.  The AZ shooters mn was Lee as was my brothers.  The AZ last name began with a L as did my brothers.  So, there was a shooter who was 22 and had the exact same initials (JLL) as my 22 yr old brother who was a victim of a mass shooting.  I know...I put too much thought into.  I just find it strange.    

 And amazingly the GA episode did not upset me like dh thought it would.  I think its because it didnt show any shooting scenes and they were all at the hospital.  Now the one where the shooting happened at the hospital...I had to pause it several times to calm down and catch my breath.  Tooooo close to home.  The scenes were much like what I played through my head when I thought about what Jarrett and the other 31 victims went through.  Very unnerving.  I will never watch that episode of GA again.  I buy every season but will skip that one episode when I rewatch them.
