i bought a fish.

i really dont no way i just made DH take me to the pet store and i walked around "just to look" and ended up buying a fish. it seems to be helping me heal in a very odd way

LOL, that seems pretty normal.  You brought another life in to the house.  You wanted something to take care of and focus on.  Plus they are pretty, did you get a beta?  I LOVE fish!

Yes it was between a fish and another dog. Fish is much easier right now then another dog. I did get a betta. named him Mack he is the first thing i have smiled at in a couple days now. i spent like 2 hours setting up the darn tank but was so nice to have something to do

yeah i have no idea how i passed up a puppy. i think it was the idea of all that work to train right now. and we have so many strays around here. so i do have plenty of dogs to take care of. but i love my fishy

I have a cat who has been ignoring me the past few days, when all I really want is for him to cuddle with me.  I think a fish might be in my near future too!  I also like the name Mack, very cute!

I did rest came home took a a nice nap. But when i woke up i felt like my "old self" and DH asked what he could do to make me smile. i said lets go for a drive to the lake. well ended up having to go to the bathroom. And there was a petsmart sign. It was also adoption day. After looking around for about an 1 i just kept going back to this fish. Ended up buying him and havnt stopped smiling since. I will post a picture of him as soon as i learn how too!

Thank you lauren. Making his tank was such a wonderful project to do too my mind off everything but making his house look nice! I understand the cat thing i have 4 cats and normally they are cuddly but since i have been crying they want nothing to do with me and its my 2 dogs that are all about me which is sweet but 2 50 pound dogs sitting in my lap right now isnt happening for me (lol) so Mack it is he even comes to the front of the tank when i am in the room its so cute

Good for you!!  I have 4 cats that are very affectionate and cuddle with me all the time!  They help a little too when I am feeling down and of course my DS!!
