Well, based on that picture, I'd say one of the 10 snowplows did a pretty good job on that street.  Doesn't look all that bad!  (But we get snow measured in feet on a fairly regular basis!)

I was thinking the same thing - that's what the road I drove home on last night were looking like and I was happy!  But isn't it the ice that's just shutting everything down?!

Those of us that live further south just do not cope well with snow.  We have the plows and the salt, our drivers just do not have good sense at times.

We can relate. Schools here have closed due to the threat of snow alone.

Yep. We've been 'snowed in' for 5 days now just west of Atlanta. The snow is not the problem - it's the thick layer of ice that we've had for days. That and no salt/sand trucks and people who continue to try to drive in it. Argh.
