Soaking thru wool- Advice

We keep soaking though wool- really really badly, it's soakes through to the sheet and me (we co sleep). I know wool is only as good as it's diaper underneath but I use sbish snapped & snapless. The pee comes from the leg holes and the top. Do sbish fitteds not work for anyone else? What works for you guys... I'm I going to have to go to the GM darkside?

 maybe try a snappiable fitted to get a better fit around the legs?

Is your wool lanolized well?

We use sbish snapless with a hemp doubler and only have problems when wool needs to be re-lanolized. Make sure the soaker/cover is covering the entire diaper well. If a little bit of diaper is exposed you could be having issues with wicking.

I only have 2 wool covers and it happens with both, maybe both need to be re lanolized? I'll try!

Yeah, the first step would be relanoizing them.  Use about a tsp of lanolin each and let them soak for an hour +.  If they feel tacky afterwards thats fine, the excess will wear off.  If that doesn't work, let us know and we will help you troubleshoot.
