I made Southwest Quesadillas for dinner and slow cooked the chicken all day. I seasoned the chicken several times today with garlic, onion and cumin powders. Or so I thought. It wasn't until my H was on his second quesadilla when he asked what was in the seasoning. When I told him, he shrugged his shoulders and said he thought he caught a small flavor of curry.
I got up from the table to look at the bottle I used for cumin...sure as sh*t it was curry. Oh well it still was awesome! At least I know why it tasted like it was just a tiny bit off.

I can see how that might happen since they're similar in color and they both start with "cu"- glad to know dinner wasn't ruined.
