Hi guys- my questions is about c-sections. I would MUCH prefer a C-section for my own personal reasons, does anyone know of any OB/GYN's in the north shore/boston area that are open to elective c sections? Obvi there are other qualifications we're going to look into when the time comes. Thanks!
I have a family member who just had an elective c-section. She is an older mom and had concerns because her first birth was a tough one. Have you discussed it with your OB/GYN? Oh, she had to have an amnio before the doc would do the actual C-section to make sure the baby's lungs were ready for birth.
Thanks! No we are not planning on TTC until the next 3 yrs (i'm a planner what can I say? haha!) But I just want to be aware of the challenges I may face with doctors facing this- I'm a nurse but not in L&D or OB/GYN. What hospital did your fam member have an elective at? I'd really like to go in the city but then part of me thinks that I'd get more "individualized" care out of the city.
