I noticed that one of my boys is getting a flat head. No matter how we turn him, he always moves his head back. They don't have their 4 month appt until early February, but I'm wondering if I should do something now.
Has anyone used the Boppy Noggin nest and if so, does it work?
Thanks!
Re: Boppy Noggin Nest, anyone?
Is the direction he faces towards the light/window? If so, how about laying him backwards so he faces same way, but using the other side of the head.
My friend's son has a flat head and is now using a helmet. During his physical therapy, one of his exercises is to stretch is neck muscles... rotate his head ear to shoulder each way. And chin to shoulder.

Someone on this board recommended this to me. I can't remember who it was. I have heard good things. However, my son is so big, I was worried his big noggin would be TOO big. His head is actually a lot better (I am a tummy time drill sargent). My older daughter ended up in a helmet with torticollis, so we are doing all we can to avoid it.
Also try rotating the position in the crib, changer. I also try and rotate feeding arms. My
We have one but I was not impressed. I thought he'd be able to hang out on it on the floor or for naps in his crib, but it's set up use in a car seat. IMO it was a waste of money.
FWIW, when he started rolling we saw a near immediate improvement. He still is a little flat, but the hair is filling in and it's getting rounder every day.
