Back After Lap

So... my lap was Monday. I'm just now starting to be functional again. The lap ended up taking about 3 1/2 hours, the RE removed a 10cm cyst from my right ovary that she thinks has been there for a few years, bursting and then reforming. They had to do a slighter larger incision to get the cyst out, but they found NO endo. I'm shocked but I'm relieved, my RE and I were both convinced I would have some.

The last 2 days have been kind of rough, I've had trouble getting around without DH's help and the pain meds made me extremely nauseous. My stomach is still pretty bloated, is that normal? Anyway, I'm so glad to be feeling semi-normal this afternoon!

Glad to hear there was no endo. Hope you feel better soon. Silly pain meds!

Glad to hear you are feeling better. I had my lap two weeks ago and felt the same way. I was bloated for at least a week and i am still swollen from healing my dr said. Im still not fully back to normal but its definitely managable. I was taking 4 ibuprofen 4 times a day and that took care of my pain. I hope you stop feeling nauseous soon!

Glad to hear they got rid of the cyst and found no endo! Feel better soon!!

Glad your lap went well and only a cyst was removed.  I just had my lap done yesterday and came out all clear which shocked me but is also good news.  This afternoon I became more functional and am able to stand for more than 15 minutes without the gas pains travelling.  My bloat from the gas seems to have gone down but am still very swollen.
