Has anyone used these and if so, what is your opinion of them?? I am currently pg and thinking of using these for the simplicity and ease, just wondering if anyone here had a review. TIA

We love these for diaper bag/out and about diapers. They are very trim fitting, absorbent enough for our DD, and we haven't had any leaks with them. They are easy enough for DH to use and when we want a stay dry feeling we'll use a fleece liner.
The most common complaint on these is the dry time. If you hang dry in the winter I imagine it would take a long time. I use fitteds at home and they don't take any longer than my fitteds in the dryer or hanging. Maybe the longer dry time might mean they are more absorbent? So that can be a plus. HTH
I love these. I don't have a huge issue with the dry time in CO (dry climate) and I hang dry them in my bathroom. They take about a day or less to dry. I also set my washer to do the max spin/extract on my dipes to get out as much water as possible.
They also stain like crazy, but obviously that doesn't hurt the function. I don't care for them because I either have to add a stay dry fleece liner (which just bunches right up), or a stay dry soaker (works well for a fitted, but is too bulky for an elemental. I wish they made the soaker snap out like a fitted. Then it would dry faster and I would have the option of switching it out for a stay dry soaker.
Thank you all for the information. I guess my only other question is that there seems to be a lot of fabric in the middle, does it ever get bunched up or bother the baby? May be a dumb question, but not sure!

These are still our go-to diaper at home, even though I'm feeling the fitted love now too (DH is not). We have about 20 of these and we've never had any problems. Drying time has never been a big deal to me because I don't line-dry and they take the same amount of time as drying a regular load of laundry.
They do stain, but the stains come out completely in the sun. As for the fabric in the middle, not sure if it ever bothers DS, but I try to pull it taut to the front when I put it on. HTH.

I agree with PP on sunning out the stains. I don't have any stains on mine. I believe the soaker lays flat when it's completely unsnapped. My DD is on the smallest snap setting so I take the soaker and pull it towards the front, like PP mentioned. It still fits very trim and has not been a problem.

It doesn't bother the baby, but it does take getting used to as far as folding it in with the rise snapped down.
I will caution you to not make your whole stash this diaper if you're going that route. You never know what is going to work for your baby until it gets here.
I fold the soaker fabric to the back, along the seam, so it just lays flat against her skin. I like them because they're easy, no stuffing, and trim. I dislike them because they take a long time to dry (I do one dryer cycle then hang them up in the laundry room, so it's really not that bad), they aren't stay-dry and they aren't as absorbant or stain resistant as synthetic fabrics. They do stain but sun removes it within 10 minutes or so for me. The only other issue I have is that the elastic on the legs isn't as taut as on the 4.0s (different style leg opening), so she didn't fit into them until she was like 12 lbs. If we have a leak, which is very uncommon, it'll be in a BG Organic, from the legs.

I'm LOL at the PP who says she uses them as her diaper bag dipes. I have two and that's exactly how I use them too -- they fold up much smaller than my pockets, but I don't like having them in the regular rotation since they take so long to dry!

We use them as this too. They are the only ones that we travel with.
I have one and I like it, but I prefer the pocket diapers because they take less time to dry. The Elementals are organic cotton and tend to stain, but the stains come out in the sun.

I just wanted to clarify, I love them for the diaper bag because they are trim, fit well & are absorbent for our DD. The reason they are not our go-to at home diapers is because we use fitteds and PFs for breathability. My DH sometimes reaches for a BGE on DD when he changes her around the house & it's no big deal. For us it takes the same amount of time to dry as a fitted.
I find they fit better in the diaper bag than fitteds or pockets. So because they are trim reliable diapers (for us) I try make sure I have a few to grab when I leave the house.

I love them! I currently have 8 of them, and I am in the process of adding another 6 from another mama on here.
I throw a big bath towel in with mine to dry (plus dryer balls), and I think it makes a big difference in the drying time.
