21 day cycle?

I've always been on a 28 day cycle to the T, even off the pill when TTC when DD. I've been off the pill for 2 months now. Last month I started my period 3 days early - way out of the ordinary. This month, I'm an entire week early (21 days since last start). What gives? Is this normal?  I'll never know when to TTC now!

It's very common for cycles to change, even if you have been regular your entire life. You can easily know when the best time is to TTC if you chart your temperatures, use OPKs, and keep an eye on your CM. You might want to pick up a copy of Take Charge of Your Fertility; there is a lot of helpful information in there that will help you understand your body.

Yes, that is normal and especially when you've recently discontinued hormonal birth control. If you want to confirm that you've had sex during your fertile window, look into charting your waking temperatures at fertilityfriend.com . There are detailed directions there. GL!

When I first came off bcp I had a 19 day cycle. I now have 23-26 day cycles. That is fine. Like pp stated maybe temp so you known when you o and don't miss your window? GL

Agree. When I went off BCP, I had a 23 day cycle, but my body was just adjusting. In a few months, I evened out and am now consistent between 28-30 days.

My husband and I have been ttc for the last 6 months and my cycles have normally been 27-28 days apart and this last week i was expecting AF the 20th and i got it the 10th.. according to my ovulation calc that should have been implantation day but it was a heavy 2 1/2 day period and then gone? Is that normal too or could it be implantation?
