Anyone knows about ImagiNation?

I guess it's a team/club that has something to do w/ science.  DD#1 was invited to join a team that'll meet once a week after school.  I know nothing about it but wondering if anyone else has any experience w/ it.  Thanks.

    Do you mean Destination ImagiNation? I am a coach for an elementary/rising stars level team. What do you want to know?

    I love DI and think its a great extracurricular activity. It fosters creative problem solving, teamwork, etc. There are different challenges for different focuses (including science). The current season is midway through (starts in about October, goes until the competition at the end of February, longer if you advance).  Here's the (national) website with a little more info on the challenges: https://www.destinationimagination.org/index.php/2010-11-season/2010-11-challenges
