Anyone else vomiting yellow bile?

Ugh, new to all this. Over the holidays, thought I just had a relentless bout of the stomach flu. Could not stop throwing up. Finally, realizing my period was late (though I'm only two months off of the pill, so still irregular), my husband talked me into taking a pregnancy test. Turns out it wasn't the flu!

We're due August 30th, so on the cusp of September. I'm just over 7 weeks. For the past 5-6 days, I cannot stop vomiting yellow bile 5-6 times a day. It's awful. And uncomfortable. Any else experiencing this?  Having a hard time eating anything other than strawberry banana smoothies!

 Thanks!

  • Well, if you're not eating, you stomach has nothing to vomit. All that is there is bile... which is usually yellow.

I would try eating, even though you're not keeping much down. If you don't get to keep it down, at least it's something to throw up.

This. Bile comes up when you don't have anything in your stomach.

Sounds like your m/s is pretty severe, prehaps you should talk to your Dr. about an anti-nausea pill. Esp. if you are vomiting yellow bile so often during the day.

  • I choose my meals based on two things: 1. the idea of it does not make me gag, and 2. it won't hurt to throw it up.

So, yeah, right there with you. Do what you can do, and ask your doctor about an anti-emetic.
