the twist of fate was that they decided to have more kids after the accident. they had to do IVF because they had originally planned to not have any more kids. And then almost a year to the day after the accident, she had triplets - 2 girls and a boy.
I just watched it...wish I had seen this post first. My face is raw from my tears. I have no idea how you survive that. I feel horrible for the truck driver, too.
I remember seeing that episode last month or so. It was so sad, had me bawling the entire time. I don't know how Oprah holds it together on interviews like that.

yea... the original air date was a random date that I was home and watching it. Crazy sad. Oprah gets me every time.
