How long did you wait before having sex after the m/c?

We were told two weeks. It will be two weeks tomorrow. I have a follow up apt with a new doc (change of benefits) so I will be asking on Thursday just to make sure it's okay, plus asking about TTC (was initially told 2 months but don't want to wait that long). I haven't been bleeding since last Thursday and I feel great, physically. I didn't mind the restriction because it was the furthest thing from my mind but now I'm getting VERY anxious. We didn't do it barely at all while pg so it's probably been a good two months!!!

I think DH is very, very excited for Thursday night

Strangely, my doc said that we can have sex whenever we feel like it!  I miscarried apparently very quickly and efficiently and it was a natural miscarriage.  I am pretty much rearin to go because we held off after spotting during sex the week before Christmas, but I'm still spotting and I would rather not be if we're gonna do it.  Plus, my husband has been so extra caring and comforting that I can hardly contain myself right now! <not sure if a silly face or blushed/ashamed face belongs here!>

I was told not to insert anything until after two weeks. 

After that, I continued bleeding on and off and was an emotional mess for the next couple of weeks after and we didn't actually end of having sex again until I was done AF for the first time.  So we waited about 6 weeks.

A week and half, and we used a condom.  My Dr. didn't give me a guideline, but my m/c was complete and my DH was out of the country when it happened.  So when when he got back...

My doc said 4 weeks (my D&C was Dec 29th)- so we'll prob wait until Feb

My doc said two weeks. We were two or three days shy of that.

We were told 4 weeks.  I still have 2 more weeks to go.  When I went for my follow-up yesterday the dr. said that my cervix was still not all the way closed so I guess it is a smart thing to wait.

I was told to wait 2 weeks, and we waited 2 weeks and 2 days due to scheduling conflicts. I was an emotional wreck but, we got through it.

We were told six weeks and I never questioned it because at that very second, I wanted nothing to do with trying again, being intimate, etc.  I didn't even think twice about what she was saying because I didn't think it would matter!

Within a couple of weeks after the worst had passed, DH and I were ready it was about 3 weeks post m/c.  I know the biggest concern is infection after the m/c.
