Thoughts & Middle Name for Marcus (For SIL)

My sister-in-law and brother are expecting a baby boy in a few weeks and have been struggling to find a name that they both like. She really likes the name Marcus. Originally my brother didn't like the name (he likes trendy names like Caden but she hates them) but recently the name has started to grow on him. Any middle name suggestions? Also, what are your thoughts on the name, my brother is still on the fence about the name because he originally thought Marcus sounded like a "nerdy" name. Thanks!

Marcus definitely does not say nerdy to me. The only Marcus I know is a big, friendly, goofy jock. I really like it.

I'm not very good with middle names, the first thing that came to mind was James.

Marcus is a bad ass, ancient Roman name. Maybe he needs to watch Gladiator again.

I'm on a Roman/Latin kick right now, and I think this is one of the few masculine names that translates so well. Basically, unless someone pointed out that it was Roman, I'm not sure a lot of people (thinking of non-name nerds) would know that.
