I haven't felt any hiccups yet either. Though a male co-worker just told me today that if your baby hiccups a lot, it means they're going to be hairy. I feel okay missing out on hiccups now- haha!
My little guy gets them every day (now I'm a little worried about him being hairy...haha) but my doctor said that many babies won't ever get them before they're born, so I wouldn't read too much into it. I'm sure there will be plenty of hiccups to deal with after your LO is born!

With my first pregnancy I had them all the time. This pregnancy which has been different in every way, shape and form has not allowed me to feel any hiccups. I don't know that I feel like I am missing out on anything. They seemed to get a bit annoying at times.
I've never heard the whole hairy thing about hiccups. I know heartburn means hair, but I think I would be hesitant to believe hiccups mean a hairy baby.
I've heard the hairy/hiccup OWT, but I thought it was if the mother has hiccups a lot that they baby would be hairy, not that the baby had the hiccups...? Since DH and I have extremely thick, wavy hair, I'm pretty sure Silas will be hairy either way, lol. Besides, he moves around and kicks so much, I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference even if he did have the hiccups.

You will be able to tell the difference. I get them all the time and it's very rhythmic. At first it was really cool, but when it wakes me up out of my sleep--not so cool.

It's rhythmic? Maybe I have felt it then. Sometimes I feel a rhythmic tapping, but I thought it was just his hand or something, although it's very light. Hmm..
