Hello Ladies.. Dh and i have been ttc for almost 10 months now and 6 of them i have been charting. With ovulation and timing perfect every month, we still have had no luck. I called my Ob today and she is willing to run some test on Dh & I now instead of waiting for the 12 month mark.. I guess im looking to see what some good questions would be to ask her when i go in? Also what test are they most likely going to run?

    Welcome. Sorry you find yourself here, but these ladies are extremely supportive.

    As far as the tests she will run, there are 3 basic ones that are done.

    1. Bloodwork on you: This bloodwork is done on CD3 and 7DPO to determine a range of things (egg quality, testerone levels, if you are Oing, etc).

    2. Semen Analysis on your DH: to determine if they sperm are swimming, if they are disfigured, etc.

    3. HSG: This is a radiology test done to peak into your reproductive organs. They insert some dye into your uterus to look for polyps, etc and then the dye travels through your fallopian tubes to see if they are open and clear.
