I see in your sig that your DH is a firefighter?  Mine is, too!  (Obviously...my name advertises that fact.   )  What kind of schedule does your DH work?

Yes he is!! He works 2 days on and then has 3 days off. What's your DH's schedule?

My DH works 24 hours on/48 hours off.  How long has your DH been on the department?  Do they run the ambulance out of the fire station?

My DH has been on for 3 1/2 years.  He is a firefighter/EMT and rotates between the fire trucks and ambulance every three months.  He's currently on the busiest ambulance in town and has been running all day!  He is going to test to be promoted to engine operator/pumper in September.

He's been at this department for 2 years. Before that he was a firefighter in the Air Force for 4 years. They don't run the ambulance. But he rotates what truck he's on. He's certified to operate every truck. He's hoping to get a promotion soon, but we'll see. GL to your DH!
