Hi everyone. Here is a little of my story...
I am very irregular, went on the pill when I was 18 and was on it until 28. After following my cycles when I went off the pill, my doctor was talking about putting me on Clomid after my next cycle.
I took a test on NYE and it was positive, but after doing the math of when we were "actively trying" and thinking that I had my cycle on 12/22, we realized that my 12/22 cycle was really a miscarriage and not my period. So I went to the doctor a few times that week to get tested and my betas were still rising. I went to the hospital on Saturday night and found out that I had an ectopic pregnancy and it ruptured in my tube. They couldn't fix it so they just removed my left tube. I just got home from the hospital yesterday, so this whole week I am just resting on the couch and my mind is going crazy. It is nuts to think that within a week I went from finding out that I was pregnant to having surgery.
After all of this, we figured we aren't going to mess with fertility drugs unless we try for a year or two and have no luck. I guess it is a blessing in disguise because at least now I know that I can get pregnant and I am ovulating. But I just wish that they didn't have to remove a tube and lessen my chances of getting pregnant in the future.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm new here too and have found it very helpful over the past few days to read the posts on this board. It's terrible that so many women have to go through this but I am finding comfort in knowing there are others out there that can relate to what I'm going through.
