First follie scan of this IVF cycle - still time for small ones to catch up?

They measured 9 follicles today... I was disappointed because in my head I was hoping for 12+.  When the nurse called back with the doctor's instructions, she said that the tech didn't measure ALL of the follicles, just the larger ones (most were 5-7mm).  We're now going to do some dilute Ovidrel in the AM, and that some of the smaller ones could still "catch up".

Anyone have small follicles catch up at the last minute?  I don't know how hopeful I should be...

It's way to early to know, and yes, a lot of the tinys will probably catch up. Good luck!

Tons of time to get the others to catch up! Very often the small ones will grow suddenly.  Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Yes, I had two catch up...they slowed down the cycle and kept stimming me for a few extra days. GL! I hope this is a successful cycle for you! Also...great job on the weight loss : )

A lot of my small follies did catch up; my number of measurable follicles doubled over a period of 2 days.  It can happen VERY quickly!
