Moving sucks, is there no chance of hiring movers? Or a couple teenagers to help you? ((hugs))
Me: 44 DH: 42.
DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09.
TTC since then with no luck or ART.
Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
We did hire movers. So the big stuff will be moved. It's the small stuff in my closet. And Aaron's. lol
I'm just feeling overwhelmed by it all.
I highly recommend hiring someoen off Craigslist. I did this when I moved from my condo in with DH before we got married... the guy I hired came and completely boxed up every thing, unloaded stuff to the garbage and/or goodwill in like 2 hours. It was insane. Packing/Moving sucks. I'm sorry.
I'm going to ditto superaunt here. I know the budget is tight, but most of these folks are good, fast and that makes it pretty inexpensive and what it saves you in mental sanity - huge. GL
I have no advice other than my sympathy. I never have the desire to move again. I am actually planning to be buried in the back yard so I never have to go anyplace else.

No Craig's List hires for us. We're doing it ourselves with help from DH's father. I think we're almost done and DH is taking off next Monday and Tuesday to finish (I will still go to work with Aaron and the dog to get them out of the way).

I feel for you. When do you have to be out by? I am glad you are finally making the move. Did your paretns have the addition put on already?
Yep. They're all moved in. The house is a DISASTER and it will take several weeks to get it right and baby proof (I'll be keeping Aaron restrained to 2 rooms until we finish). But Aaron's room is nearly finished beyond old stuff of mine in the closet, which won't come out until after the move. DH ripped up the old, stained carpet and the wood floors look great. The room will be painted next Monday. Ours too after DH finishes pulling up the carpet in there.
We're spending some $ (I wish we weren't) on area rugs and window shades so we don't want to spend any more on the move itself.
Oh gosh, Robyn, big hugs! If I were closer, i'd SO help you pack. I hate packing, love moving, but hate packing ... LOL! Just take a deep breath and know that it will soon be over and you're doing this for a very good reason. {{HUGS}}

The moving part does suck but remember it will all be worth it when you are debt free. Take care of yourself and don't get to run down.
