Trouble TTC

clomid and light sensitivity

Hi,

Anyone experience this? I seem to get it every month around Day 3 but today was the worst its been. I wonder if the Clomid builds up in your system..... guess it could be worse but I spend the day in my dark bedroom.

Re: clomid and light sensitivity

  • I never had light sensitivity...but hot flashes and night sweats were TERRIBLE for me!!

  • Definitely speak to your doctor about that.  They have big concerns regarding vision changes and will probably like to speak with you about it.

This.  If you have any vision changes while on Clomid, you should speak to your doctor right away.  It might be nothing, but everything I've read on Clomid says this is a s/e that should be checked out.

  • Trying not to scare you but the s/e can get worse.  In rare cases it can be permanent and it was serious enough for my RE to move me right to injectables since they say this is a potential side effect for meds in pill form.  You don't want to be driving at night with those kinds s/e.

  • they seem much better today. my RE did say she wasn't OK with this side effect but she was glad I was better. im hoping this is my last month with the clomid. fingers crossed!
  • Definitely be careful! I had blurred vision from CD2-3 and Dr. suggested that they may take a break or stay at 50mg if possible.  Definitely make sure all your s/e and reactions are being monitored by your Dr. also :) GL!
  • im currently at 50 mg... i don't think i'll stay on it next month if im not pregnant. anyone know what they put you on in place of clomid?
  • I was put on Follistim.
