Partners in Peds patients

Their site says they combine the DTaP, polio, & Hep B vaccines in one shot at the 2 month appt. Anyone split these out and did you have to tell them ahead of time?

Re: Partners in Peds patients

  • I don't know how they would separate those vaccines, because they come in prefilled syringes most of the time and you'd have to see if they carry individual doses of each. I would call ahead of time and ask.

  • I just wanted to say that baby Harry is absolutely adorable! Love your siggy!

  • We didn't split them, but I imagine that you could.  They are in prefilled syringes, but the vaccines are separate.  So they don't have to be administered at the same time.

They are 3 different shots.  I split all my shots up.  We did have to make an extra trip every month for a shot, but I was fine with that.

I did get a little resistence from one doctor, but I stood my ground.  Then the doc I wanted came back from leave so I switched to her.

    Good luck.

ETA: I didn't tell them ahead of time.
