Do blogs ever post bad reviews

We're pretty open on the boards about what works (and doesn't work) for us, but have you ever run across a blog that does that?  It seems like most cd blogs I encounter just want to keep their vendors happy and sending them free things.

Anyone run across a "brutally" honest blog?

This isn't necessarily a bad review on GM ones, but it's not a five star review either. I feel she was holding back a little haha

I've wondered this myself. The worst they'll say is "I wish they had (insert feature here), but its still a great diaper!" I don't really trust blogs when looking for a CD review.

I normally trust the more "seasoned" blogs but new blogs usually review anything and give it a positive review.  I have heard many bloggers say that they won't post a review if it is negative though.

I don't really put much stock in reviews, period, because different babies fit different diapers differently... but I think this lady does a pretty good job of calling 'em like she sees 'em.

I'm in the process of creating a cloth diaper blog. I'm working on compiling all the different information I've learned in one spot so that when my friends ask me for info I can send them to one spot. The reviews are going to be honest as I see them. I feel like a company can learn from a negative review, if there are cons, more than a needlessly positive one.

As a side note, when I reviewed my nursing pillow I discussed my likes and dislikes (overall I love it) and the owner was so pleased to get constructive feedback that she sent me an updated cover to review!
