Hi ladies, I've been lurking for a few days and just decided today to post. DH and I found out on NYE that we had lost our baby. I had no signs of a miscarriage other than minor spotting. My doctor sent me for an U/S to ease my mind and we found out our baby's heart stopped beating at 9w3d, I was 12w5d when we found out on 12/31. Since it was a holiday weekend, I had to wait until Tuesday, 1/4 to have a D&E. I felt ok afterwards, phyically. Not so much now...I just started bleeding which I'm told is very normal. I'm blessed to have a beautiful 18 month old little girl at home, she keeps us smiling. I've just been having a really hard few days and reading your stories has helped a bit. Sorry this is so long...I hope there are good things in store for all of us in 2011...thanks for listening.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a D&C, not D&E so, I'm not sure how similar they are, but I can kinda understand the post surgery feeling. This is a great group of women to be around with lots of support and sympathy.
