Hawaii Babies

Enjoy your sweet babies while you can...

because they turn into little monsters. Well some of them do anyway. A few quotes from my once sweet baby:

"I don't love you Mama"

"I don't want you Mama"

"I'm maaad, I don't want to look at you Mama"

"Go awaaaaay!"

"Put me dooooown!"

I won't even go into getting the door slammed in my face or getting hit for singing along to the Backyardigans theme song :-

It was an interesting weekend to say the least!

  • As much as I wish he could talk right now to communicate better, I'm not looking forward to those phrases!

aww, i'm sorry. i am definitely not looking forward to that!

i love your siggy. i can't believe how much she's grown!!! do you still have a blog? i used to follow your blog but lost the link somehow. i enjoyed looking at cassie's photos :-).

  • Awwwww, she doesn't mean it. :-( I am most certainly NOT looking forward to that. Or to when she's and adult and wants nothing to do with me. I hope the latter never happens! I understand now how mom's say that you are always their baby. Because she always will... Hugs to you!!!

  • awww i am sorry :(  just remember that it's just a phase and she doesn't really mean it.  i am not looking forward the terrible 2's!
  • Awww... *hugz* my sister's kids say stuff like "I want a new family" it's so hard! She has to be tough too and not let them get away with saying that stuff. In the end they learn not to say hurtful things.... =/

makes me feel bad when I think about things I say/said to my folks...

  • Awww I'm sorry. Sad It's such a rough phase - a good friend of mine is going through it right now with her LO and it's hard to watch. I'm really not looking forward to it!
  • Sad! Bella went through a phase a couple of weeks ago where daddy was her favorite and every time I would ask for a kiss or reach to hold her she would say "no" and shake her head. It made me SO sad! I can only imagine what she'll grow up and be like!
  • Oh man! How heartbreaking...I am sure my day with Libby is coming...she's already taken to pushing me away when she'd rather be doing something rather than sit in my lap. Oy. I keep reminding myself, "it's developmental...it's a small step towards independence." But yeah, I am sure hearing your little one say those things to you hurts a little bit. Hang in their mama!
