Hi my name is Clayli and my twin girls were born at 25 weeks. My daughter Adalynn did not perf but did undergo GI surgery. Like your son she had no BM at birth. Although she had no worsening gas pattern they operated after 8 days. She too has a ostomy. She and her sister are home now and doing wonderfully! If I can answer any questions for you please let me know. I would love to help out if I can!

    Your girls are beautiful! How long was it until you were able to hold her? ( I ask because we have been able to hold his brother, briefly, and it kills me that we are not able to do that yet with him). The part I'm finding the hardest is seeing him so uncomfortable and pooping through his tummy, every time I look at him I get sad for him. I know he will be fine in the long run but it's tough to see your child in pain.
