Re: formula feeders do you

  • Our daycare center requires the bottles to be premixed, dated, and labeled with DC's name.
  • Loading the player...
  • we mix them, but most just let the place do it.  I think we just got in the habit while she was on BM, so we just kept it up
  • aren't they no good after 2 hours? If they are refrig, how do the centers get themw arm?
  • When DD was on formula (8-12 months) I just left a can at her daycare providers and she mixed them herself as needed. She's at a small home daycare though, centers might not be OK with that.
  • Our DC requires the bottles to be premixed and labeled.  They warm the bottles in a crock pot.

  • I sent the mix measured in a container, and bottles with water. DD took her formula room temperature. I was the only one, though. The other parents sent a jug of nursery water and can of formula and just brought clean bottles each day.
  • Daycare has a can of formula and bottles  in DS's cubby....They mix it and wash the bottles.  DS takes room temp bottles....but I think they use warm tap water.

  • I pre-mixed.  Only emergency bottles were unmixed.  But I know another friend's provider mixes it for her.  So just depends on the provider.
