My side-eye moment...

Just saw an announcement-type item on FB when the person is only a few weeks pregnant.... and this person has had a loss before early on. I just don't get being so carefree about it all. Maybe I am too cynical after everything?

What has been your side-eye moment?

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    I also had a fb friend who had a few losses and still announced on fb right after they got a bfp.

    even before IF, i had several friends with losses at various stages of pregnancy, so i was already planning on announcing my PG later into it.

    my side-eye moment was the *entire* pregnancy of my cube neighbor at work. she came into the office on a monday and showed my the iphone picture of the positive pregnancy test she had taken an hour earlier. she proceeded to tell half of the office, then tried to tell each of the ppl she had told that it was a secret. um, no it's not anymore.

    the remainder of her pregnancy was just as bad.

    I'm sure not sure if my person is the same as y'alls but I've definitely had that side-eye moment before...and recently...

    I just heard someone diagnosed with IF - who has had multiple losses - announced at 5 weeks recently.  I truly don't understand.  At all.  As hard as I try.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    We got an xmas card form a couple w the same EDD i had (7/7)...

    I would have been 12 wks right at christmas eve.

    So, u know they ordered the custom cards sometime in Nov (she would have been 6-7 wks when the ordered them, bc they came in early dec).

    They were signed from the couple, their 2 yr old, and baby on the way.  WTF, u prob haven't even been to the OB yet!
