Talk to me about potty training and CD's.....

My DS is in cd's. I have NO IDEA what to do about potty training. How do you do it? With training pants? Leave him naked? Will the training pants act like a regular cd - in case he has accidents when we're out?

My girls were in sposies, so I never went through this.

    We just went straight from (cloth) diapers to underwear. Around the house, we did naked time or put on a prefold with no cover (absorbent enough to catch a pee, but she and I would know right away if she did pee). She was in diapers outside the house until she was consistent enough on the potty to go to underwear.

    We did buy a pack of disposable pull-ups that we used in certain situations when an accident in public would have been an absolute disaster. We only needed the one pack (it lasted us the entire time we worked on potty training), so it was far more cost effective to do that vs. buy a bunch of cloth training pants.
