Ikea Expedit vs. Target Itso

I have the Ikea Expedit in the nursery and I got 2 of the wicker bins for it, however I like the feel/look of fabric bins more. I don't like the colors Ikea is offering now though.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the large fabric Itso bins from Target fit in the Expedit?

I may be wrong but I don't think so.  I am pretty sure that the target bins that we have and that you are talking about are 12 inches but that the ikea expedit compartments are larger than 12 inches....i guess that means they would fit tho, depending on the look you are going for..GL!

They don't fit. The bookshelf cubbys are 13 by 13, and the Itso bins are 13 1/4 I believe. I had been on this massive search to find just the right size green bins for the bookshelf, and was making myself nuts. I finally gave up and ordered some baskets from Land of Nod. Good luck!

Too funny, DH just put the Ikea Expedit together today and I bought the fabric bins from itso.  They fit perfectly

I should add it's not a too tight fit but fit enough there isn't a gap.  They are still easy to pull out.

hmmm, maybe I am thinking of different bins from what everyone else has replied...oh well...gl regardless!

Seriously? Seriously? Dangggggggggggg. Too bad I got my other bins in the mail on Friday. Ugh, kicking myself now!
