Sex and the City Baby Name

E! has been re-running the first season of SATC. Last night was the episode where one of their old girlfriends is having a baby shower. I had to laugh when the name was announced, and Charlotte freaked out about name stealing (because it was her "super secret baby name" that she only told her closest girlfriends.). And I laughed even harder when I learned the name was "Shayla". I immediately thought of this board. lol

    Ugh, Shayla is such a porn name in my opinion.  This is a name I liked when I was in junior high because I thought it sounded 'exotic'.

    lol Thats what I told DH (to which he replied with an eye roll.)! Didn't she name her girls Rose and Lily?

    I actually know a girl named Shayla. It is totally not Charlotte's style and she ended up giving her girls beautiful names, in the end. Rose and Lily.

    I saw that episode too. It's so true.

    I have a name and make sure it is not taken...and I'm not eve PG yet.

    I don't like that name. Reminds me of Sharon and Shannon. All 3 sound dated. Or maybe I am just not a fan of the "Sh" sound.
