Mine were born at 35 wks, so we had to feed every 3 hrs until 1 month. At that point they started sleeping, occasionally, for 5 hr stretches. I know it is a controversial topic, but we were given the OK at 1 mo to give them rice cereal in their last feeding for them to sleep longer, which did work.

Our boys were born at 30 weeks gestation and were on a 3 hour schedule until last week. They are almost 2 1/2 months old now. Tage will sleep for 5 hours at night if we let him usually but Taylen only goes for 4. In order to keep them on a schedule together we're having to wake Tage up early. Sometimes (rarely) if we're lucky, Taylen will go for 5 hours. I cherish those nights. lol

Re: When did your little ones start sleeping in 5 hour stretches at night?
Just this week. They were 4 weeks old on Tuesday. Last night I fell into what seemed like my first deep sleep since they were born..it was great!
Good luck!

Ooh that would be sweet!!! I'll cross my fingers!
around 3 months old (1 month adjusted). Prior to that they were on a 3 hour schedule and would wake up automatically to eat.
