A friend of a friend wrote this, and though I am fairly staunchly pro-vaccine (but support that fact that parents can choose for themselves), I though it was well-written and brought up some interesting points.  Thoughts?

I look at it this way, if neither Dr. Wakefield, nor Jenny McCarthy had such a HUGE public forum to spread their theories (and let's be clear, they were just theories), would the anti-vaccine movement be as huge as it is today? 

So, now that the "science" has been completly disproven I don't understand what the argument is.

Side thought: I don't know why Dr. Wakefield needed to be disproven anyway considering I watched an interview w/ him where he was asked point blank if vaccines caused Autism and his reply was, "I don't know" so why people see him as a prophet, I have no idea.
