How often to BD? Help me get KU!

How often did you DTD? I'm CD 9 and should O CD 14-15.

Re: How often to BD? Help me get KU!

  • I'd go with the 11th, 13th, 14th, 15th, maybe even 16th too. You doing opks or just charting?

  • For this pregnancy - who the HELL knows cause I think we got KU from BD 1 time in a 3 week span. BUT with Cole we did every other day near O and my trigger shot - the RE said it was for better sperm quality.

  • Personally unless there are known sperm issues I would BD everyday until O is confirmed.

I agree.  When we were TTC, we did every other day up until the day before O, then we did the day before, day of and morning after just to be sure :)  Only works if the morning after falls on a non-work day, though ;)

  • I'm not doing either. I have pretty obvious O signs and DD is NOT sleeping again so charting is out for now.I'm just going to have to make sure I get a lot of action this week!

  • I had to consult FF since it has been so damn long.

We only DTD twice around O...  The day before and the day of ovulation (CD 13 and CD 14).

I was a FW back in 2008, though.

  • During the cycle we conceived DD1, we DTD 13 times in eight days.  Wasn't taking any chances.

The cycle we conceived DD2, we DTD once - on CD7.  I never used to O earlier than CD13, and it was usually CD14-15.  Got KU anyway.
