(Edit: I know I don't post here regularly, so forgive me if this is a strange introduction. I want to spare others from any ordeals with them. I am an active Nestie; didn't just sign up to rant about them!)
I just wanted to put the word out there that I was just treated extremely rudely and unprofessionally by
D i a p e r J u n c t i o n. com
I
wrote to them explaining how I had a code for free shipping that
applied and worked, but then disappeared when I logged in. They
questioned my truthfulness on this, so I provided the code and explained
the situation, all in a very polite manner. They refused to refund me
for the shipping, even though I had a valid code, also claiming that I
had never answered their emails, which I most certainly did. So that's
annoying, but it was just the cost of shipping.
After receiving the diapers from them yesterday and the product
not being what I wanted, I wrote asking to return them, because they
were still brand new in the packaging. Yes, they were clearance, but I
had barely even touched them, I paid the shipping, and they could easily
resell them as brand new. They very rudely refused them back, not even
for store credit, though I just received them yesterday. (I could also
understand if a lot of time had gone by.)
Somewhat recently, I had sent back another pre-owned diaper because it arrived reeking of perfumey fabric softener that wouldn't come out after many washes. We don't use synthetic fragrance in our household, and it's widely known that fabric softener is not to be used with CDs. They weren't too happy that I wanted to return it, but they resolved it and refunded me, which I appreciated. Well, after this latest issue over me daring to ask for free shipping, their staff member, Robin said that she reviewed my customer record and found my correspondence "nasty in nature" and they were closing my account!
I can guarantee that I have never been nasty to them, I have purchased several things from them in the last few months, with no complaints or issues on my end (though they were out of stock in what I specified once and became frustrated with me), and I just feel they are highly unprofessional. Now I am stuck with two expensive diapers I don't want and am extremely disappointed with how they treat their customers. Just thought I'd share that warning so you can avoid them if you want to avoid stressful and condescending shopping experiences. They are friendly enough if you don't contact them, but if you ever have any issues with your order, watch out!
