First Pregnancy and with twins AHHH!! HELP??

Ok.... Well I'm 7 weeks along and went for my first ultrasound today. During the ultrasound I noticed that the babies both have their own yoke sack and have a membrane separating them, but they are both currently in the same sack.

Can you tell this soon if they are identical or fraternal?

    Congrats!  Looks ID, like pea-kay said.

    My first pg was with our twins too.  It was scary, but you figure it out.  Remember, you don't know what having just one baby is like, so everything is going to seem totally normal to you.  Chaos to everyone else, but normal to you!  And it's great. 

    Keep popping in here for great advice.  The women here are awesome.

    Congrats!  Our first pregnancy was twins as well, we thought for us it was good in a way since we had nothing to compare too :)

    How did you see the membrane so early? Most of the time, you can't find it until MUCH later in PGCY. Such was the case with our identicals.

    unless my eyes are failing me - don't the US pics in your profile have 01/04/2011 as the date? And yet you said you went today, 1/7/11....

    ETA: humm... maybe it says 1/6... it's hard to read... i know it doesn't say 1/7 so it was in question- but if you posted this before going to bed on 1/6 then it's all possible.... but still a suspicious type of OP.... so, you are either a faker- or you need to learn that there have been many fakers on here and we don't trust anyone new from the start to posts suspicious things...

     the US tech pointed out the membrane to my mother and I during the US... she was actually shocked to see it as well but on the DVD she recorded it on it shows it as well and she paused the screen on it so we could show ppl... i wish i knew how to upload the DVD so i could show the ladies claiming that i am faking being pregnant with twins that im really not but hey if that all they do all day is sit around and try to find women that are faking having twins then whatever get a damn life!!!

      The US pics say 01/06/11 which is when I was exactly 7 weeks and if you look at the time of my post it was at 12 am soo the date on the post would have been the 7th but I am not a faker i promise you!! no there would be no "busted" there is nothing to bust.. sorry try to find another faker somewhere else... all i wanted to know was a simple question, which you neglected to answer.. but thanks anyway!!

    They should be identical if they're in the same sac.

     

    You are MAJORLY showing for only 7 weeks....even for twins.  I'm not even showing at 12 (with 2).  Others on here said they didn't even show with triplets until later in the pregnancy.  Anyways, good luck with them.
