If you've had a chemical pregnancy, I'm wondering what your experience was with your eventual period. I've been on progesterone and had intermittent spotting for several days. After stopping the supps Tuesday, I've continued to spot, and I would go so far as to call today cd1, but my bleeding is very light, clotty, and it's already slowing down.
Anyone have a similar experience? I hope to talk to my RE tomorrow.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Re: post cp period (?)
I started spotting the day after my positive beta and then the heavier bleeding started. The spotting started on Thursday, the bleeding on Saturday. I pretty much bleed for another week and a half. It wasn't super heavy but it was definitely more than spotting...I'd say like a regular period. I never really knew what day to count as CD 1 either but it didn't matter for anything..
(TMI) I didn't really have any clotty bleeding or anything, the clotty tissue just all went straight into the toilet.
Sorry sweetie...

It could be af. My post cp af was weird. I am so sorry you are going through this.
i started spotting dark brown for one day, then started a regular flow for the next 4 days (about a day longer than a typical period for me).
((HUGS))
Thanks ladies, and tickers are small people are fine (thanks for asking).
I was thinking that it would be heavier, and maybe tomorrow I'll get a big surprise. I can't help but think that I have lining issues if there is nothing much coming out.
I need to schedule a hysteroscopy for cd5-10, so I'll have lots of opportunities to bother my RE.
I have had all sorts of bleeding after my c/ps. My first few have been heavy and lots of clots. Heavier than a period. My last 2 have been lighter. I had one where I just spotted a little and that was it. This past one I had a few clots and light bleeding and that was it.
My nurse has told me with each c/p that I may have heavy bleeding or I may have little/no bleeding b/c the pregnancy gets absorbed into the body. Sorry you are going through this. It sucks. ((HUGS))
I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm going through a c/p right now as well, and I have had one previously. With my first, I was on progesterone supplements, and I had a period-like bleed starting the day after I stopped the supplements. It lasted a day longer and was slightly heavier than my normal period. Prior to stopping the supplements, I had 4 days of spotting.
With this one, I wasn't on supplements, and I had light spotting last Wednesday and Friday, slightly more spotting on Monday, and then a very heavy bleed starting Tuesday. Yesterday, I was going through a pad about every hour and a half, but that has thankfully slowed down considerably.
I think it varies a lot, and again, I'm so sorry you're going through this.
