How do you like your steak cooked?

 

I like mine rare.  Like, bring the steak to room temperature and light a match in the room rare.

Same, I can't stand rare meat. We have the technology and the means to cook our food, I'd prefer not to eat it raw. But I also slather my food in mustard and A1, so I really don't care about the "meat flavor"

Medium, sooooometimes med.-rare.  It depends on the steakhouse since not all meats are cooked equally at different restaurants!

Once I went to a restuarant with my bff's family (when we were teenagers) and I was commenting on how rare someone's meat was...come to find out all 5 of them ordered rare.  All I knew was to order well done...I wasn't even familiar with rare, medium, etc.....lol!  Everyone laughed at the table...especially when my well done filet mignon came out....

Medium, but on the more rare side of medium. But not quite medium rare. Not that I'm picky about my steak or anything, LOL.

And I'm happiest if there's a little butter and salt left on the plate from corn on the cob or a baked potato that I can kind of swipe the steak through.

I am surprised by the results of this poll.  I cannot believe there are so many people who would eat beef cooked past medium, after which point I think it is basically inedible.
