    I live on the east side near 696 and am wondering about commute time? How far do you commute? It seems like a long drive!

    I also live on the eastside. In Sterling Hts/Clinton twp near M-59. It takes me 25-30mins to get to work

    you could do 696 to i75 than M-59 there. Depending one where near 696 it probably wouldn't be that bad. Depends on what you are used to. I used to work 3 miles from home and loved that short commute but I have gotten used to the 30 mins and it isn't bad now
