I was trying to avoid this and wanted my body to do what it was supposed to do.  For any of you that were following my story I have been through hell and back, between being in labor going to the ER 3 times having contractions, bleeding for hours loosing so much blood and having a transfusion and nothing was really done about it besides pain meds in my IV.  I wanted them to do this while I was in the ER but they wouldnt.  And now a month later after bleeding all this time (and still am) I have to have it done on Tuesday because my levels are still going up little by little.  I am very scared because i have enevr been put under and because of all of the risks.

Ugh!! This makes me want to throw my computer out the window for you (dramatic I know,but man I hate this for you). If it makes you feel any better you have a buddy in the nerves dept. I have mine tomorrow morning and I've never been under before either. Here's to us conquering our fears together. I'm so sorry you have to have this done after all you've been through!

Ugh, I'm sorry that you have to go through all this. Talk about adding salt to the wound but I am happy you will be able to "move on" (whatever the hell that means in these instances).

Going under is not that bad. It's like a drunken night when you black out and wake up thinking "what the hell happened". Trying to get a little chuckle out of you to make you smile.
