First pregnancy

Hello,

My name is Toni Kropp, I am 35yrs old.  This is my first pregnancy. I am due on June 1, 2011.  I am nervous but I know with this club will help me decrease my fear in having a child.  I hope to hear from from some you you ladies.

PS. I just got our baby furniture. Should I put it up now or wait until to April, 2011?  I just brought two baby outfits, is that too early?

Hello, and Welcome!

As for being nervous, I have to say I think all of us are.  At least I am.  This is our 1st and we are still in our 1st year of marriage, this was totally planned, and I still find that I am very scared of what will be.

I don't think it's to early to have bought some outfits.  I haven't bought anything myself but have had a ton bought for me.  I can tell you if I had the nursery set I would put it up mainly because I'm dying to see something in our second bedroom and I would love to start putting up some of the stuff that was bought for the baby!

We will be putting our nursery together in feb/march but I think if you have the room ready, put it together! how much fun

we will register and start shopping in feb as well... it's so much fun.

I say set up your nursery whenever you want to! There is no hard and fast rule as to when to do it.

Welcome! I am 35 year old and am pregnant with our first as well!!! It is nice to know that there are other "older" pregnant women on this site! Not that I think 35 is old.... Anyways! Welcome!

As soon as we find out if we are having a boy or girl we are then going to start the nursery and buying stuff! I cant wait!!!!

I'd say put the baby furniture up and buy whatever you want whenever you're ready. There's no rule for when to do it : )

welcome and congrats! The girls are great around here. You will feel right at home. Promise!

 I would start putting the nursery together now if you have the room ready and the furniture. Why not?! That way you can take your time and have it ready to put everything away after your shower, etc.  And it's not too early to start shopping either! I just found out we're having a girl yesterday and want to go out and buy this outfit I saw a few weeks ago!

I am feeling good and my husband and I have registered at target and jc penny.  We still have a long way to go.  I think this will be a fun experience for my husband and I.

I still can't believe I am pregnant:)
